The Geneva College Foundation

The Geneva College Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Geneva College Foundation, starting June 1, 2021. 当时, all charitable giving will be processed through the Geneva College Foundation and all new endowment gifts will be retained in the foundation.

Since the college budget will provide the staff salaries and program activities of the Foundation, 100% of every gift will go to the Foundation.

The Foundation is managed by a board of directors:

He joined Packer-Thomas in 1993 after serving five years with Ernst & 年轻的. Packer Thomas is a regional, certified public accounting and consulting firm with offices in New Castle, PA and Canfield, OH. Cournan’s specific area of expertise includes serving clients in the metals, 制造业, retirement plan and wholesale distribution industries, as well as international clients. Cournan’s interest in developing youth led him to 14 years of active engagement as a board member and board president at the New Castle YMCA.

David Howell has worked at Westinghouse Electric Company for more than 37 years in roles such as Senior Vice President of Operating Plants Business, Senior Vice President of Automation and Field Services and Senior Vice President of Nuclear Automation. He is currently President of Americas Operating Plant Services, responsible for total customer relationship, commercial activity and delivery of all operating plant products and services for North and South America.

Bill Kriner has been a lawyer for over 40 years, and currently has his own legal practice. Kriner served on Geneva’s Board of Trustee from 2006-2014, returning to the Board in 2018. Bill and wife, Susan, have an endowed scholarship at Geneva.

Frank Papa is the owner of Brighton Hot Dog Shoppes. He served on Geneva College Advisory Board from 1993 to 2004. In support of Geneva’s ministry of education, Papa established a scholarship endowment, and he continues to contribute to this fund.

切斯特Replogle served in and retired from the military and worked as a civil servant with the Department of Defense. He sold his business to do ministry and now serves as Director of Ministry to the 军事 & Internationals, planting churches near military bases and establishing Reformed Churches overseas to meet the spiritual needs of U.S. 军事 personnel, their families and others.

Dwight Wagner is the founder and current CEO of U.S. Commercial Realty. He served for 12 years as one of three members of an Independent Fiduciary Committee for a Separate Account of The Equitable. Today, Wagner provides both advisory and asset management services for clients on a fee basis. He is active in his native Lancaster County community in various church and community organizations, as well as a principal owner of real estate and land development projects.

Richard Bentley ’97, CPA

Richard Bentley is CEO of Cooper/Haims Advisors (a wholly owned subsidiary of ESL Federal Credit Union). As a Registered Investment Advisor, he serves high net worth clients. Bentley previously worked at public accounting firms in Pittsburgh, PA, and with Nixon Peabody, LLP in Rochester, NY.
